It appears; since you are a F/O you are a recent entrant into the airline industry. So I’m curious, what type of prejudice have you experienced. Womens suffrage? Please… Put on one of your ancestors pairs of shoes… take a walk… and let them, us and the world all know how you have personally suffered. What a total waste of time! And you call me Richard Cranium?!?!? What a Pure Mistake for Sure. Oh yeah, I couldn’t resist.

Also, I do wish that affirmative action would go away so people would stop making assumptions about why I did get my job. Of course, then you wonder if some minorities would get passed up for a job say if someone in HR or recruiting was racist, felt that women belonged only in the kitchen, etc. You just never know.

As for rejection letters, haven't had one, but maybe you can tell me more about being rejected, you seem to be bitter.
Before you jump to conclusions, please let me explain.
I, me, myself haven't dealt with it (as mentioned in a previous post), I have heard lots of other women complaining, all I wanted was some clarification. (If you read the very first question.) People talk and make it seem worse than it is, I just wanted a guys perspective on the whole women in aviation deal. That's all just an innocent question, didn't mean to step on your toes, and if you can't deal with it grow some hair on your ..... and take it like a man.

Since this thread is still going, I might as well ask this question: I've always wondered about women's airline uniforms. They've always seemed, well, masculine. I've seen female airline pilots wearing the "male" uniform hats and sometimes even the "male" necktie (although most wear the blouse tab). I've wondered why airline uniforms for the women pilots weren't modeled more after the women's military dress uniforms, with different "female" hats and prehaps even an over-blouse shirt option (as comapred to the tuck-in blouse). (obviously, skirts would be very impractical for piloting.) Anyone have an answer??
