Just ground stations. We will keep the flights in the east for the foreseeable future. The logistics are easier and we are very experienced there.

Just found out apparently the upgrade failure rate is 60 percent. Just be careful when bid upgrade.

What's the FO initial failure rate? Is something going on in the training department?

If it's true then that's a high rate and the Feds will look into it. It will be more than likely reflect on the training department.
They should not be recommending folks for any check if they are not ready.

I think it more reflects on the candidates they bring in. My understanding is they work very hard, perhaps to hard to get people through. With the flow american has a input on what the minimum performance will be. At least one recent new hire class had a 40% washout rate.

Usually the case is that the candidate doesn't make it to the check/LOE. The LOFT lessons tend to show if the student lacks the knowledge, authority, and decision making skills to be an effective captain.

Sounds like a great way to start off your career. If true that seems to be a training department issue more so than the candidate. It makes sense considering it's a new airplane for the company. There are a lot of other regionals bringining in similar candidates and they don't have wash out rates that high.

False. That was a dash thing. Basically everyone gets through. IF you make a mistake on MV or LOE you will get re-trained then continue to SOE (you know like AQP)

My entire upgrade class passed (6 of us). Come to class hungry, studied up, and ready to work, you'll be fine.
