I didn't take notes but I don't think that would be a problem at all. They basically tell you to make yourself comfortable, ask questions, this is your time to get all the info you want.

They also gave me a packet that outlined the presentation

Our presentation went quick, I don't remember if we got any literature or not, but there were guys taking notes. So I'd say it's no big deal. Remember, you're just as much interviewing them as they're interviewing you!

We did not get a copy of the presentation. I didn't take notes either. I was planning to, and did, accept the job if offered so .... what use are notes....:-D
However, they were very open to questions and giving as much information as anyone needed. Taking notes would convey your seriousness and not detract in any way...

I interviewed during an open house - was given an interview time that fell after the group presentation time. When I arrived I was given the written exam, then given a copy of the presentation to review while I waited to be called to interview. I jotted a few questions down on the presentation copy, and, at the end of the interview when asked if I had any questions, jotted the answers down. I don't think I've ever been in an interview, aviation or otherwise, where I haven't been asked if I had questions at some point.

Maybe - but the ultimate goal should be finding the right fit for you as you enter an industry that dies a thousand deaths every year, and you are on the pointy end all the time.

Most jet lines seem fairly commutable. There are only a handful of lines that have early show times. Very few trips have late finishes that would leave you stuck in PHL. What remains to be seen is how lines will look once the AA schedule bulks back up in March.
