Depends where you live and your seniority, senior guys and those who live in base will benefit greater than those who commute and relatively junior. Take me as an example, my # will be up in a few months for the flow and I live pretty close to phl, it was an easy choice for me, immediate pay raise and I'm not seat lock for the flow. Win win for a lot of guys.
Remeber, as we expand this year most of the guys on property will be displaced to the jet anyway, so why not take the money now.

I knew I should have joined this year and on the Dash. I think the Dashes are going to be around longer than most think and if you want to fly one, you will still be able too. It's actually good experience before flying jets.

Ofcourse it is worth it.. as a senior fo on the dash I make 41 an hour. Plus i make 10k bonus for my fo retention bonus. And i make 12k bonus this year for the dash retention. I average at least 15 days off, sometimes 20. Ill make about 65k this year plus another 5k in soft money. And i fly a turbo prop that people poo poo at.

I haven't worked one holiday while at PDT. I also enjoy flying the dash.

This is slightly misleading. 20 days off per month is only attainable while using vacation. Politifact rates this post: Mostly True.

New Hire in the Feb class-
Do we get free uniforms and bags? I know Republic does, so I'm crossing my fingers.

That would be a big no.The uniform cost will be taken out of your pay. The bag, well your on your own.
