I can't find anything about getting moves day in the furlough section. Here is what they say about recalls though.

For furloughs lasting less than 90 days...."the pilot will be allowed a period of three (3) days within which to notify the Company of his intent to return to duty. A furloughed pilot will be allowed two (2) days plus the shortest air travel time after reply to the Company's notice to report for duty at the point specified by the Company."

For all other furloughs...."the pilot will be allowed a period of seven (7) days within which to notify the Company of his intent to return to duty. A furloughed pilot will be allowed fourteen (14) days plus the shortest air travel time after reply to the Company's notice to report for duty at the point specified by the Company."

Sadly I couldn't afford to move so I am still in base. Doubt I will be able to hold it if I get a call back but moving 300 miles isn't as bad at moving 2,000+ miles then moving 2,000+ miles back.

Yeah, plus there are not many jobs on the West Coast. Too many furloughed and soon to be furloughed guys over there.

"Piedmont management has indicated that a need has arisen to recall approximately 8 pilots during this quarter. Please refer to the company web site for any official announcements."

Hope it's more than that...

They are refering to just this quarter, which to me indicates a Jan-Mar timeframe. Hopefully it'll ramp up quite a bit after March...

For anyone on here that is still working at PDT, can you update us on the tentative vacancies once they are announced? I'm only coming back if I can hold MDT or LGA...
