I think you are thinking of the September 29th class which had 6 in it. Those guys are done with training and doing SOE now. There is an October class at the end of October with 10. That is why Piedmont came out with a new permanent bid a few days ago to be effective November 1st. The 6 that were just recalled were on the October 1st permanent bid.

Was it originally 6 and they added 4 more cause I know someone in that class and he said they told him it was only 6.

Not sure how many total are in that Oct. class, but I do know that this recall goes down to almost the end of the March class.

There was originally 6 and then they called an additional 4 for the Oct 25th class. And yes it is about halfway through the march 08 class maybe all the way through. I think RJ in march class bypassed and it went one after him. Sept 29 class is doing SOE this weekend. 3 going to CHO 1 going to MDT and one going to EWN. Should be "line qualified" and on reserve first of next week.

Wonder when there will be more recalls.. I hope soon.

This whole age 65 thing completely massacred any movement in this bloody industry.

Does anyone know how much reserves are flying roughly?

Also wonder how the new duty limitations will affect PDTs staffing levels... I haven't had time to look through the proposed limitations. But it sounds like You are either a reserve or a line holder and there will be no build up lines..?

I don't see why build up lines would be effected.

Since I got recalled, the least I have flown is 65 hours, the most was just over 100 hours. Normally get around 85 or so. That depends on the base though. I know people who are only getting around 50 or so.
