you guys misinterpreted, what i meant was "it would be a classic move on their part to open a place very hard to get to in one flight" for example, you cannot get to flagstaff or douglas in one leg from LAX, SAN , or any major airport in just one flight, can you? just like how its hard to get to salisbury or middletown or charlottesville from where you actually commute from.

what are you talking about? salisbury is easy to get to! 1 excuse for an airline that goes in and out.....weight restricted, useless piece of junk airplane with zero chance of a jumpseat. EASY. I love my job! Infact I'm just happy to have a job right now!

Are the Feds in bed with Piedmont Training?
They must be... considering the fact that not one pilot has received 300 Stick Shaker training, (which was a mitigating factor in the BUF tragedy.) If the Feds were doing their job, then they would INOP the shaker system until such time as the pilots can be trained. (Of course admitting this would confirm that the FAA has been asleep at the switch / in bed with Keen and Co.)

It's stick pusher not shaker. Training is currently working with the FAA to resolve the simulator issues in CLT. Because of the AQP, the FAA did allow some exceptions to the required changes in training following the Colgan accident. Very few changes to the AQP are expected at Piedmont.
The fact that Piedmont has been flying the 300 since 2001 and has never provided hands on stick pusher simulator training is the issue. AQP has nothing to do with the combined incompetence of the FAA and Keen and Co. If FAA weren't in bed with the heads of state in CLT, then they would do the right thing and inop the system until such time as the pilots are trained. Meanwhile, both sides are hoping that the NTSB doesn't get wind of their world class indescretion, and launch an investigation.

Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking pusher.

Survivor if the stick pusher gets activated (because you weren't paying attention and did not recognized you stalled the airplane) don't over counter the stick pusher and pitch up. Add power level off and clean the airplane. The pusher will stop ones the airplanes comes out the critical AOA.
Congrats you have been trained and graduated from the stick pusher class. Not so hard right ???
