Anyone find out why CQ is canceled for AUG? Due to staffing maybe?

A certain instructor is apparently up to his old tricks. Every year he does something that causes a major back lash and every year mgmt keeps him full time in trng

At a certain point the behavior of certain individuals in the training department could damage the reputation of an airline so severely that no pilot, no matter how desperate will want to attempt a career there. I think we are fast approaching that point at Piedmont.

My point was, they were offered a defined amount of aircraft deliveries for their concessions. What did we get? A kick in the ___. We had more reason to shout "NO" than they did, but rolled over and showed our bellies to management. The Eagle guys seem to have a bit more integrity than our pilot group so far, seeing as they didn't even send the agreement to the pilot group for a vote, but voted it down 7-2.

A.) Unfortunately, this whole charade shows exactly where Piedmont sits in the pecking order. We are truly the "red-headed stepchild.

B.) If by some act of God, Airways would approach us now (not going to happen), and offer us equipment . . . since we already operate on a "B" scale . . . I hope this pilot group can get it together this time, and stand our ground. I wouldn't want to be associated with throwing Eagle under the bus, while moving to a "C" scale.

I just got an August class date and I was wondering if anyone had a link to the contract from back in April?

Prepping for merger most likely if that's true.
