Here's the solution to your staffing issue. Send Eagles 47 CRJ700 to PSA remove the 35 CRJ200 from PSA fleet no negotiation needed since they fly them for free under a blended rate. Place the 60 E175 on Eagle certificate with negotiated new rates and contract improvements. Place PDT pilot group on Eagle/PSA list to help staff their fleet. As the E175 come in remove the Dash from the system. By 2016/17 no more CRJ 200 for PSA and no more Dash 8 no more Piedmont.

What?

Also our 200s are very new, and make money due to "favorable" lease terms. So outright parking them wouldn't make too much sense. Stranger things have happened though. Perhaps shifting them somewhere else. Or leaving them here and placing eagle's crjs at piedmont and 170s at eagle.

Pure conjecture of course I'm sure we will find out soon what the plan is.

Actually, at a state of the airline like a year ago, Kirby did say the 50 seaters are, in fact, dirt cheap to lease. Makes sense; they are ubiquitous and aren't very fuel efficient. That lower lease cost probably takes some of the sting out of the higher fuel bill.

I doubt you'll see the reduction in 50 seaters come from PSA...more likely Air Wis and since they already said so, Envoy.

What do we think is gonna happen at our meeting with AAG next week?

Take into account envoy has some 44 seaters left, that's what they want to return and a small amount of our oldest 145s I think 22 of those. Then the other 145s are on the books till 2022. Envoy operates the cheapest of all the 50 seaters as the leases were reduced in half during bankruptcy. Somewhere in the bankruptcy documents the company was quoted as saying we were the cheapest operators on the planet of the 145 when it came to lease costs.

What are you smoking dummy? The most jr captain at PSA (09 I think) makes the same as your 18 year captain. Your top fo pay is year 3rd pay at PSA.

Do your own research. Everything that a PSA guy says on here is considered a lie, so maybe if you read it off of paper it might sink in.

I'm looking at the pay rates here on APC and assuming they're correct your numbers don't add up. The captain pay you reference is listed in the 70s and eagles 18 year pay is much higher than that. Your FO scale tops out at 41 and eagle's tops at 42. If you're referencing the SAP thing I can't really comment since I don't know how that works but it's worth noting eagle offers premium pay for OT almost every day of the month at current staffing levels.

All regionals are bad, I'm not saying eagle is a great place to work or that PSA is necessarily bad. What I am saying is at least argue with facts.
