I flew the CRJ2 a few years back (furloughed) and found it pretty boring compared to the Dash. I also enjoy the airports we fly into with the Dash...a mix of big hubs (CLT, PHL, DCA, EWR, LGA) and some scenic visuals through the valleys (ROA, SCE, AVP, AVL, etc...)

Have you guys flown both, or is your "fun to fly" based solely on your Dash 8 experience?

You're right....if the Cub paid enough I'd fly that too.
It's obvious you've never flown a Dash 8 either

I love when the training department comes on the thread.

I've been in the airlines for 8 years. Only PDT guys I know are either my friends that went there, or my crash pad roomies. Guys I say hi to while deadheading are always nice to me. So I guess everyone at PDT is super nice since the ones I've interacted with are nice. Good logic.

I am looking for info on a possible SBY-NYC commute this summer. Can any Piedmont folks PM me with some of the following answers?

Is it feasible for an off-line guy? Or are the flights mostly full and weight limited during the summer? Thank you.

I think we both have great people and also have a few that should find another line of work or their way off a cliff. I think most airlines are this way...it's the few that leave a bad impression sometimes. I have several friends at PSA and ride them to work on occasion, nothing but respect from me. To each his/her own I guess...

Does anyone know if PDT have an actual commuter policy? Very interested for the new flow but there isn't any direct flight to any PDT bases from where I am. Thanks in advance.
