Some airlines have a box that you will need to check that asks you if you have ever started training at a 135/121 carrier and did not complete it. Personally, I started with a 135 outfit about 25+ years ago, and the job went away before I finished training. I have had to check yes to that box, and I think it did hurt me. I had to explain my way out of it a few times.

In other words, many companies offer you the option to quit during training rather than being fired. If you leave during training, it may look like you were not cutting it and were asked to quit. In the end, it can hurt you down the road if you quit during training.

That's true it may look that way, but I have something better, and in reality no one can live with 1800 a month of pay or less.

If you have something better lined up and that's what you to pursue, just cut tie as soon as u can so you don't waste anybody's time.

If you went into training with something better and you were just killing time, waiting on a class, etc hope they don't find out because they will probably fire you.

You accepted the job offer knowing you can't live with 1800 a month at pdt while knowing there're other regional that pays more? You still came and started training? I'm just little confused why you wasting your and pdts time.

I thought it would be a good decision, but don't blame me we all make mistakes, I came here for the flow and the growth, but I realized I don't want to fly old turbo props and certain things I didn't like.
I'm just asking for some advice about how resigning training right now would affect my FAA records at all.

And the wait for simulators of three months or more

What things don't you like? Seriously, the more info our mgmt sees on here the better as it is the only leverage to change things here... the threat that people may stop coming due to something in training. Also, the sim back up is not 3 months. Might be 1 month. Edit* last month it was about a month. I'd be shocked if it changed that drastically

It won't say anything but a resignation BUT resigning from training looks BAD. Like, really bad. Your next employer will ask

So you didn't know it was old props before you showed up? You might have done piedmont a favor.
