Aye... If the flow doesn't pan out there will be plenty of other opportunities available..

nope, we've had I believe 4 guys come back from training, from over a year and a half's worth of flows, so out of 50-60ish people?

If a pdt pilot flows back, do we get to flow an additional pilot back up or is it simply a flow spot wasted?

Essentially wasted. from what I understand you only get one shot. i.e no "re flow"

It is considered a spot taken. By and large most of our pilots have been successful in training at American. The flow back is an insurance policy if there is a an unfortunate experience.

Remind me again how many PDT has hired for the year?

All of the wholly owned's are falling behind on new hire numbers because they are all managed the same way. They don't value their employees. Until that changes, it's hard to predict what will happen. But I don't think they'll grow until AAG stops abusing their regional pilots.

I think one of the best aspect of our flow agreement is the flow back, get the seniority back and life is back to somewhat normal compared to being on the street looking for another job.

It is good, but terribly demoralizing to have to come back. I give those that come back credit. I'm sure it's not easy.

I totally agreed, no one likes to be viewed as a failure but it totally beats on the street and starting all over again most likely at another regional.

Flying dials and props for 25 years and then jumping into an E-190 can be daunting for those guys.
I think with the E-145 and a change in piedmonts training environment this will be a big plus for all future flows going into training.
American's training is tough but hard work and good attitude you'll be good to go.
