Republic Pilots, The Revolution Begins...

But what this guy says is completely inaccurate. If anyone believes what he's written then they'd immediately form a very wrong opinion about what is going on. He's speaking on our behalf when it's not wanted and is full of false statements.

We are all pilots and what affects one group concerns us all. IF union representation is doing something immoral/illegal then I think it's fine to let other's know. After all, it is us who make the union. They are there because we are here, not the other way around. This is a forum...get it off your chest, and some of us need not be so sensitive

I have not seen any threats from any of our union or exco. I think they know if they did such a stupid move that it would alienate them even more from, not only our union, but the entire pilot groups of all airlines. It certainly would NOT go unnoticed. But again, as of this date, I have not seen any threats. If I do, I will be the first one to post it on here for all to be able to form their own opinions.

I would advise everyone (rah pilots especially) to watch what they say on any site! Not trying to opress! Just advise......? And to the original poster..... Get your facts straight man!

Talk about anything and everything. Furloughs, pay concessions, union issues, etc. Just keep it factual and not a poorly thought out rant with no backing.

The Teamsters are wrong. They have poorly represtented the RJet pilots allowing more furloughs then needed without any pressusre on the company to save jobs, poor contract language resulting in abuse and loop-holes for every greivence, the unlawful and non-represtatation of an entire crew termination based on the word of a hotel house cleaner (but not until after the company allowed them to finish the trip...) and much more. My money, my votes and my confidence are lost with Teamsters.
As a point to show how much they care only about their money: all the pilots being furloughed, all first years on probation, the teamsters have sent out a bill to for the FULL AMOUNT of intial fees and any back dues owed before they lose their jobs and cant take them out of their paychecks anymore. Nice.
