this site is not as anonymous as you would think! I know the identity of quite of few people that don't know me (at least I don't think they do) through word of mouth! Remember the aviation community is relatively small and six degrees of separation couldn't be more true!

It's not clear. I don't know of anyone who's been targeted. That website is a private meeting place. It's not funded by the company nor union and is not an official means of communication. I have yet to speak with anyone who's had anything held against them. The only reason I feel somewhat confident is because if there was a list of names, based on statements from RP.org, I'd probably be on it. I honestly feel you have less protection here where everything is public.

i think its pretty easy to figure out who is who on this website...
Now this "revolt" is more of some of us are wondering why we are paying union dues if we arent going to get anything out of it. Now im not saying the teamsters are the problem or our present attorneies are the problem, or maybe even the exco but for one reason or another alot of us are feeling betrayed. I dont know how many other people out there like or dislike their unions but it is well with in our right to make sure we are getting the representation and services that we pay for.

Airdale,
jusy by reading the lastest on rp.org (mostly that posted by ZH) i would guess this is going to die quickly. I would be for throwing out the union, however, sadly as the union has not done its job I am one who is out of a job (and close to $500 poorer in dues, initialtion fees and "counsel fee") after less than 8 months online. What a waste and the union is one of several reasons i will happily "bypass" any recall that happens to come my way.
Sharky,
We have every right to come to this public forum and make some noise for our cause just like everyone else. If you dont want to hear about it dont click it.

I can't comment on this thread, but I would recommend that all of you do a little research on the history of the Teamsters for your own good.
