CAL dropping 9L rumors???

You can get waivers for green on green. They got them at CommutAir when they transitioned from 1900's to DHC8. My first trip, after IOE, in the Dash was with an FO, who was a new hire, with 45-50 hours in the plane. Total time in the plane between the two of us that day was about 60 hours or so.
What would Tyler Wojo do?

So CAL wanted Republic to fly Q's? Where was Republic going to get these Q's? Colgan's Q options were available to any airline to codeshare with and CAL wanted the first 15 (which they got) and then they signed for 15 more (next year)...and they signed for first option for Q's 46-60. Q's 31-45 are still available to any airline.
Bottom line is cost cost cost. Q's are the best within 400 miles as you mentioned. Airlines are going to have to find any and all ways to save a buck with the new era in aviation which is on the way.

1) The 69 airplane announcement was before your time at XJT, and the pipe, therefore you missed the endless threads that went on. Containing TONS of arrogance and hubris by our coworkers along the lines of "CAL likes us too much, and we do such a good job they would NEVER do that to US". Well, it happened.
2) Some people's memories are short.

I cant imagine CAL would drop the saab unless they found another carrier to do the saab routes.
CAL would be stupid to send a Q to even any of our destinations from the Saab. The Q is needed at a greater range more that of a RJ, like OKC, TUL, hell even DFW cause the huge loads. BTR, LBB. Cant wait till they get here.

Excuse me, sir.
Seeing as how the VP is such a VIP,
shouldn't we keep the PC on the QT,
because if it leaks to the VC,
he could end up an MIA,
and then we'd all be put on KP.
