International Jumpseating on Xjet

Just to set the record straight, XJT does not fly IAH-CLE. Hub to hub is mainline turf. However, I certainly agree with you that the IAH-YYZ, IAH-IAD, CLE-DEN, and CLE-MIA flights (among others) are a little ridiculous. I do believe though that 737s have taken over CLE-DEN again.
One thing to keep in mind is that XJT has been doing these routes for years. It's all old news at this point. CAL pilots have managed to keep a fantastic hold on jet scope though, so just be glad that there are no XJT 70-seaters running around in CAL colors. The only thing everyone has to deal with is the Colgan foot-long hotdog.
Priceless.

Agreed, the "you're" was priceless....I kicked myself when I saw that. That is as bad as people not knowing the difference between "loose" and "lose"

Yes there are a few indeed. But this is not against you but the morons on here who call Colgan the problem and then fly 3 hours in a 50 seat RJ and think it is ok because they get "industry leading" regional airline pay, failing to realize that it is still a lot less than any mainline aircraft flying that route.
How is it you can think logically and others just can not?

Hang on there big fella.......... I don't think its the length of the route thats the issue, it's the frequency. Colgan flying up to MHT is just as bad as IAH-YYZ IMO, they could easily put a 737 on that route.

My issue is not with you. You used to sound more like NewarkBlows on this site, but apparently due to evolution of the primate brain you are not like that anymore. Hopefully some of your counterparts will grow as you have.
We both agree that developing a stong union on property is the first step in creating a company you are proud to work for. We are working on that and will always appreciate the support of those over at XJet.

I agree that EWR-MHT should be a 737 route. As I have said before, Colgan has some clear violations on flying that should belong to mainline. My argument is the simple fact that many like to act that Colgan is the problem for flying the Q at crap rates and flying an RJ on a 737 route is not a problem as long as you are getting "industry leading pay."

I hear ya, to be honest Colgan pilots who have done more for the Industry than most other regionals the past year or two. You guys got tired of the bull**** and got a Union and are working towards better pay & work rules, thats a HUGE step

Seasonal, goes back and forth. A couple months ago it was on an IAH pairing, with a DH to DEN for an overnight, then operate DEN-CLE the next day.
As far as aircraft capacity in regards to jet aircraft, yes they have. If considering the sheer number of jet airframes allowed, would have been nice to see a smaller number. But like you said, cats out of the bag.

I think CLE-ABQ takes the cake
Its only in the summer, but thats a good 4 hours in the air. Apparently the people in CLE are so happy to get a non-stop they don't even complain about the small plane. Of course the 3 services and multiple meals served make it easier as well.....
