Lots of recent classes have had DFW ERJ slots and I bet that will continue for quite a while. In the event you can't get DFW ERJ on day 1 you can put in a bid to transfer and get awarded DFW a month or two after you finish training.

Junior ERJ CA is JFK and 1/23/06 DOH.

Awesome, thanks for the insight. Will this hiring continue into next year? Seems like a great time to get on NOW, but what if the music suddenly stops.. even though most don't foresee that happening.

Do you guys know at what point in the Eagle hiring process you sign something that basically says "I'm going to work for you guys and I'm a jerk if I back out"? When you get the pre-offer? After the medical? at some other point? thanks for any info

What's the likely hood of getting CRJ700 slot in ORD right out of the gate?

524 newhires projected for 2011, and no clue what will happen in 2012. Personal guess is that hings will really start to pick up with the hiring at the Majors, and sucking up the guys who are currently at the regionals. AA recalls will hopefully continue, which will directly take several hundred AE CAs from our seniority list.

We need to hire a ton of people in 2011 and probably the same for 2012. Apply now and get everyone else you know to do the same!

Naw, youll just be a jerk

Honestly it isnt uncommon for a class to be projected to have 40 pilots on Day 1, but only 38 will show up. You wont be breaking any hearts, but we'd be happy to have you show up

Excellent chance. We are seriously short staffed on the ORD CRJ and cant get people through training fast enough.

CRJ...However, the difference doesn't seem to be more than around 2-3 months currently

Same here. Are there many early 20's guys in the recent classes? What were your options for aircraft and bases?
