I am just glad I am not at the top of the pay, you need to compare Eagle pay to Skywest or Republic, any spots that they do not compare, expect Eagle to see paycuts...the 18 year guys are the ripe picking for this one.

Any news on the 12/05 class? Has anybody with that class date been contacted by Eagle to either confirm or cancel the class?

I've been at the top for a couple of years now. I'm certainly not looking forward to what will likely happen. :(

My neighbors, wifes, uncles, mothers, sisters, fathers, grandson is at eagle, has has been there for 34 months, 8 days, 4 hours, and 15 minutes.....he said that everyone hired one day after him will for sure be furloughed, and anyone that makes 1 cent more than him will get a paycut, but he said he will not see any effects, except he will go on reserve, which he lives in bases and said he wants anyone.

Good thing you got a class date now at Gulfstream, before those 1000 much more qualified than you guys get furloughed, and run the minimums back up again.

For the same reasons already quoted. He is getting up there as far as years of service with the company and he does pretty decent pay wise. He has no ambition to go to AA along with many of his peers; that creates a lot of folks who would rather make AE a career and soaks up a lot of money. As far as the new hires, his concern is the eventual getting rid of all the 50 seat jets and smaller.

@Wingtips I don't know why you gotta make big deals out of nothing all the time. I'm just simply passing along some concerns of somebody that's been with the company for awhile.
