'edit' Why get people's hopes up? Why not just put that criteria in the hiring minimums?

Hey I dig what you're saying. But that's why it's called "minimums". They can pic an choose who they want. And what they want is the best possible candidate.

So he got the offer right? If so, good on him. It doesn't necessarilly mean they are gonna pull his offer. Maybe they feel he's a genyinely good dude. I'm just guessing though. I'm also guessing that he had his paperwork squared away. Sh!t, you got the job if your paperwork is squared away!

I'll call it as it is so no one else has to waste their breath.

Enjoy.

Im sure you wont be missed.

Filled out that easy airlineapps application yesterday (hah), now time to cross my fingers and get to studying!! Hate to ask the question with all these youngsters around, but is 39 too 'old' for AE, or don't you think that'll matter.

Emailed one of the recruiters yesterday since I was asked to when I met their mins. I exceed them now with the lowering to 800/100. He said he'd review it yesterday afternoon. Dunno if I should be more patient or send a follow up email. How soon is too soon to follow up?

Relax...they have a lot of work, just wait a couple of days and then send them a follow up email. They want to know that you are interested, but give them time.
