Actually it means they aren't settling for the wishy washy language 9E is tortured under now.

They are standing firm.

Or it means that they are not confident that 9E will take them up on their offer. They know not to hang themselves by a rope. I listen to these P2P calls..."Careful how you say things"...screw that...the truth is they can't find a way to get this done...so they keep dragging on and on and on and on....I've tried to be civil...but civil has got us nowhere....IM GOING TO BE THE SAFEST PILOT IN THE WORLD NOW!!!!!! Believe DAT!!!!! I'm so through with 9E...and the union...I'll go picket by myself...I don't need a union to tell me when my voice needs to be heard....I'll make flyers and hand them out to my passengers...I really don't care right now.

That's what I believe right now anyway.
Seriously!?!?! If PNCL management truely "wanted" this to happen we would have had a TA back in November!!!!

I posted those a few weeks ago. I bet 90% of them are still open.

XJ's MEC communication seems to conflict with things put out by Pinnacle's MEC. Just one example - XJ's conference calls last week said retirement was finished and we are keeping mesaba's current things. Pinnacle's communication said our retirement proposal was agreed upon but was contingent upon agreeing to the company's Compensation proposal - which is not acceptable. Then I heard something like XJ rates as of 12/1 + 4%.

It seems XJ's MEC is putting a positive 'spin' on things. But every Pinnacle pilot is negative or apathetic. Maybe they cancel out.

Stay thirsty my friends.

Well if there is not an agreement reached than no one should move from what is on the table. If they want to try to negotiate with each pilot group independently than those groups should go for no less than what is on the table. No group should budge from what we have offered as a whole. If the company know that no matter what they are going to have to pay for what is offered no matter what group than there is no reason for them to not sign. If they are not willing to meet these terms then at some point there will be a strike and I am sure that all three groups will walk the line with all of the pilots.

They are not going to give anything away.

All I'm hearing is "45 days is too short a time", "2 and half days is not enough time", and whenever they extend to get more done, "why are they dragging this out, let's take this into our own hands".

They are getting it done. Piece by piece.

I know y'all have been through a long road, but this is different than any of the previous negotiations 9E has been through, let the process work.

I want to see an open list as of right now.

I don't think XJ MEC is putting a positive spin, it's a process, you keep knocking stuff out until it's done or you have a stalemate.

They are still knocking things out, so I'm hopeful they can get it done.
