We're just calmly waiting to see what the negotiating teams bring back from the table by Dec. 2nd.

Sorry I don't have more than a sentence for you. At the risk of being labeled a "trouble maker", I didn't feel the need for the overused buzzwords like support, team, progress, hard work, hope, change, etc.

Why do I feel like pilots with families are going to get sent up a river...I am fearful that any "pay raise" is going to come at a cost. And, that cost is going to be higher employee share of premiums, higher co-pays, etc...I have heard that the Pinnacle folks have a pretty good insurance plan, so I would like to retain that AND have a realistic pay increase. Is this a realistic expectation, or should I prepare to eat Chef Boyarde, Hormel and hotel coffee for the next few years?

Ahhhh AxialRose, my new favorite FO, I've missed you, it's good to know that the above "buzzwords" are so "overused", from my perspective the new Pinnacle needs more of a positive attitude.

This contract is much more comprehensive than just comparing insurance premiums and wages. The leg by leg gaurentee is a big one just to name one, and it does look like FO wages will increase

Thanks Bartok, it warms the cockles of my heart to know I have another fan!

Towards the company, I think the attitude is an accurate reflection of how pilots feel towards management. Towards the union; a reflection of whether or not the pilots feel their expectations have been met. Just my perspective...

6 Years and the NMB has thrown you on ice twice trying to get what other carriers have already had for years.... Please tell me how happy you would be with your MEC with those results. I would frankly be concerned if the pilots weren't ticked. For me the slander towards the PCL MEC is nothing more than a motivational speech to do more. Not really sure how many more hours in the day are available, but it's noticed by the MEC. There is 1 fundamental difference between the PCL and MSA MEC.. look at union buy. Yea, we have 1 MEC chair, no officers, no reps, and happen to get the 3 merger and 3 negotiators after a bit of a war. Try flying a 90 hour line and do union work... You can devote your life to it and never be caught up. My wife hates ALPA (due to time commitments) if it makes you feel better, but she supports me because she knows I am trying my hardest for the pilots. Buy me off a bunch and the pilot group (and my sex life) would notice a positive change. Too bad... "Denied due to staffing".

When the overwhelming majority of a 1249 member pilot group is as frustrated as the pncl group is, perhaps those from the outside should consider that there may actually be a valid reason instead of assuming this collection of pilots happen to all be childish with bad attitudes.

There has to be some changes at pncl.
