Word on the street is that things wont be much different. Everyone gets a little bit of a raise and the health care costs go up.

Sadly, junior manning and extensions will remain.

DANGIT!!! Why couldn't the MEC say NO, NO, NO, NO, NO to junior mans and extensions???

When are you going to lose the negativity?

Because there are people who use JA's and EXT's to their advantage.

If you don't want to do them, man up and refuse them. Its not that difficult.

Did you really expect that JM and Extensions would go away completly. TBH the update I saw a couple days ago with the new junior man and extension rules seemed pretty good compared to what we have now.

150% pay for extensions etc. I am anxious to see the TA!

Great idea!!!

So if I refuse them, can you be my union representative for my fact finding meeting when I am written up for "being absent on my day off"???

That's not an improvement my friend. the 1999 agreement is currently at 150% for extensions. Maybe you made a typo.

When you are getting off at a certain time and have plans to be with family or friends, the last thing you need is your airline telling you that your extended.

The only time when extensions or junior mans should be acceptable is when the pilot has the ability to waive it without any fear of disciplinary action. Let's face it, we are all adults here.

They are going to the mesaba system with a few modifications, you don't have to worry about JA much anymore. You don;t have to check out, so don't answer your phone. Also if they play games they have to give you comp days and 200% pay on top of guarantee. I can all but guarantee JA will end like the way they are at pinnacle.

There will Some people from each carrier that will ***** no matter what is in this ta. These are the same people who most likely on their third marriage. Calm down about the junior mans, extensions, and contract as a whole until you read the stupid thing. I for one am excited to read it. I also wanted to say one thing. Let's put aside the "it was because 9e picketed, and this only happened because of mesabas mec " mentalities and get back to being unified.

Also 9e pilots need to realize that this contract is not like our current one, so take a deep breath, and read it when it comes out. I bet you this thing passes with around 80 to 85 percent yes.

For the sake of everyone else in the industry (as you're going to be a very large regional and this is kind of a defining moment in regional mergers).... if it isn't good enough, please vote no.

Other than that, congrats to everyone.

80% of what I am looking at is straight up compensation rate. Any news on that for CJC?
