how about instead of that, if anyone gets the work rules, post them. Pay rates are a mute point without work rules. Our current contract shows you that. I just dont think we should just be looking at the bullet points with this one, we have to look at the whole deal.

you obviously aren't living on CJC rates

I agree with looking at the value of the entire contract and not only the payrates but the rates take effect the day of signing the rest will likely be implemented over time. Most CJC'rs are dying for some relief. Pay rates are the top item for many many CJC'rs who are basically barely scraping by.

Just what I heard.

Colgan pilots talk about wanting relief by making a nice hourly wage because of the years of substandard rates. However if this contract is as good as many are talking, the real money will be in the soft money throughout the contract. We Colgan pilots know very little about soft money so we need to start to understand that real money is made outside of the compensation section.
I for one am very happy we have reached a TA and think that a industry leading contract is why our new pilot group will need to help unify us for years to come.

Nothing wrong with knowing them but I think the problem lies with those who open up the contract, look at compensation at their aircraft/year, and then close it up.

You get it, it's not just about the pay rate, soft money and the contract as a whole needs to be evaluated by each and every pilot.
