Left where? NO one was hiring in the recession. And how will "other people" pay for my career decisions? I'm just saying DOH, and you STILL HAVE NOT GIVEN A REASON NOT TO DO DOH! I do not get how DOH hurts Colgan "career expectations"? Ha, if I can even use "Colgan" and "career expectation" in the same sentence....
Damn right! Cause of us, your sorry airline was able to grow. I don't know anyone who went to Colgan when they could have gone to other bigger, better regionals. The only Colganites I know that went there were rejects (no offense, the Marvin types). People who couldn't make the cut anywhere but luckily got in and passed at Colgan.
And toilet cleaning for me? Is that the best you can do as an insult? Try again, Marvin!
What on earth would you know about people who can and cannot make the cut at other airlines? You got handed a job as soon as you earned your Commercial/Multi and sat right seat on a highly automated airplane for the past 3 years watching the autopilot work? Yeah... you're Bob Hoover all right.
We have people at Colgan that have flown everything from little Cessnas to much larger aircraft like B727s, DC8s, and even many Guard guys actively flying C17s and C5's.
And as far as some of us who wouldn't go to other regionals over Colgan by choice? Many of us have. It's called Quality of Life, living in base and home most nights over Shiny Jet Syndrome and commuting hundreds of miles away. Colgan is my second (and hopefully last stop) on the regional bus. The grass isn't greener on either side of the fence. Each company is/was what it is/was.
Thankfully, I'll never have to worry about flying with you. I'd have to be delirious to bid any of the current Pinnacle bases in some of the worst parts of this country.
