19 seater turboprop

Safety is not measured in accidents and lives lost. Luck plays a large part in keeping people safe. Those of us outside Silver Airways can only judge the safety of the company largely by the pilots they meet, flights they take, and management practices.
Gulfstream had its run-ins with the FAA. Gulfstream also watered down the role of their FOs by allowing anyone who qualified for a loan to play airline pilot. That put a lot of extra work on the captains, effectively making many 121 flights a single pilot operation. Previous management has made it clear safety was a low priority for them. Silver Airways tells us they are a new company, and that may be the case, but it takes time to get rid of bad apples within the company and even more time to make the rest of the world forget about them.
The most important reflection of safety (and the one you seem to have failed at) is the way the public views the pilots. What you have done today has showed many people that Silver Airways has at least one FO fresh out of training who has a large ego and does not respect other aspects of aviation that he has little experience with. There will be a point when you have enough experience to realize how dangerous a pilot who over estimates their abilities and under estimates the conditions is. The fact that you responded to Wingtips equally dumb comments shows that you may be able to physically fly a 1900, but you failed CRM by not recognizing and avoiding another immature pilot.

I'm not knocking beech drivers, but I think you need to understand that just because it's a jet doesn't make it easier.

If I had a track record like Cruz's, I would of had my mouth shut a long time ago. There are some sharks in here, and they smell blood.
Humble yourself..It goes a long way.Word on the street is, Cruz never mentioned any RJ time during training
Some people never learn. And you've heard it before, its all about who you know in aviation.People know people and they WILL talk. You don't always gotta be the the loudest guy in the room. You may be the loudest, but inevitably your taking a big chance in looking like the fool in the end.

^^ Fits some people on this forum perfectly.

So why make this comment then?
See how you get yourself into trouble?

Though an accurate statement I'm trying to figure out the relevance of such a factoid to this discussion.
Also - to be fair to Cruz about the supposed jet time - he did say in the one post that "Handflying in the worst weather is more rewarding than any of the flying I've done on a RJ."

Now making comments about how hard it is to do something from watching isn't very smart either. It doesn't look very hard to kick a football 40+ yards through those HUGE uprights

I'm just suggesting that you be careful in how you portray yourself on the forums especially when it comes to qualifications/experience. APC has already been the stalking ground on one infamous fake and I don't think the community appreciates it.
Your defense of sarcasm rings to johnso29/AcesHigh rings hollow too. Yep - it is just the internet and users only window into whether to take you seriously or decide if you are one who's opinion is worth nothing; then see if you participation on APC is still worthwhile. APC is an internet ready room/crew lounge. Do you take the same attitude with you into that space?
