I cannot answer for everybody, but I know that I do everything in my power to get every jumpseater on that I can. I also treat every jumpseater with the utmost respect. As Evil Monkey said politics (merger, SLI, etc.) have no business being discussed. All that each person wants is to get from point A to B. I have not jumpsat in the cockpit on a RAH flight but I would expect the same treatment in return.

Our concessionary contract looks like an IBT negotiator's wet dream.

FAPA: Um yeah...they screwed it up with SWAPA and then tried to screw over every RAH pilot in the SLI. And they're getting their clock cleaned in court over the deal they tried to cut with Bedford. Smart guys...cut a deal promising them a future with a guy who worships at the altar of Lorenzo, Icahn, Ferris, Wolf and the rest.

It's time to flex and change or you will never change.
The initial contract was done under an old leadership of the Airline Division and Local 747 and was a disgrace. That's why Local 747 no longer exists and there is new leadership in the Airline Division. It's also one of the reasons that FAPA is having a cow...because there is leadership that won't let them (FAPA) steamroll the other pilot groups; and when they tried to cut a side deal, they got sued and will probably lose their backsides on it.

If you were at Eagle for 23 years, you know how archaic the NMB can be. Nothing is over and there is a lot more to the picture.

What did we screw up with SWAPA? Staple and 156 pilots on the street with no recall rights! I will speak for myself. I am a Captain and I would have made alright in the deal, but not at the expense of my fellow pilots and co-workers.
The screwing of every RAH pilot is total BS! In fact, ask your representatives at the negotiating table who were the top pilots going to be on the list? Hint not F9,YX or L4. In the beginning we were willing to integrate a ratio. In the end we came out with this mess.

ATC your day has come and gone. You can talk smack all you want but in the end separation is going to happen. I really do think you need to concentrate on getting a fair contract and not focus on F9 being in the picture.

We do not worship BB, but we did have an amicable relationship with him. In a pilot meeting he came to talk to us and I remember him saying "I have talked to FAPA more times in 3 months then I have communicated to the IBT in 4 years." Point being, is that we do not demand, we negotiate. What has your new Exco. done for you? Promises that CM makes with no deliverance.
For all of you at RAH, I am not trying to rub anything in here, but ATC needs to get a grip and move on.
Sticky, TE and all of you at RAH I really do wish you good luck.

LOL at BB "negotiating" and just the IBT "demanding" in negotiations! How is their only pay proposal ever of NO captain raise and a small FO raise negotiating? And this is for wages put in place in 2004 and a rates that froze in 2007.

You complain about our rates and how we are "bringing the industry down" and then you complain at the IBT for insisting to BB on fair and industry standard or higher rates.

You F9 guys need to put on your O2 masks, because you are obviously hypoxic from the hot air BB feeds you.

Your reading comprehension needs some work. Go read what Bolo said about negotiating again.
