How DARE you blame a Major Airline Pilot for loosening scope! Can't you see it's all the RJ 'commuters' fault! You talk about scope like we had the ability to stop it in our contract! Get a clue!

Because its called negotiations, not demand and receive. In order to reduce the number of outsourced jobs, shift flying back to mainline, & create new protections for mainline flying compromise was necessary. The compromise was more 76 seaters. I didn't like it so I voted NO. But 62% of my fellow Delta pilots who voted thought it was acceptable. If anyone thinks DALPA didn't attempt to fly those additional 76 seaters at mainline, they're wrong.

Suck it up and share the blame. I did. The RJs don't fly themselves.

When you can look past your anger, maybe then you'll understand. I'm not sure why "negotiations" is a difficult concept to grasp.

So DAL contract 2015 will have more 76 seat jets or will we see even larger aircraft at the regionals?

Considering Delta management requested 82 seat RJs outsourced on the current contract, I'd say the line will stay at 76 seats as it has for the last 2 contracts. With the new FTDT regs coming up, & massive retirements at the Legacies approaching, a greater leverage to recapture more flying will exist with the next contract.
