for a guy who claims to have been around the block, you sure are lacking in the basics.
And isn't it in our contract that every month, a group of instructors have to come back to the line for a month of line flying and then they go back?

It's been a slow few months. RJ Pilot has to find some way to spinning some doom and gloom

Why are displacing when the big movement is just around the corner?

Oh thats right. We cant massive upgrade if we cant hire.

And we are some of the better compensated! Don't worry, soon you won't be able to afford much with inflation and your 2016 adjustment. A 2nd year FO at AA will make more than you.

For the more junior FO's @ Eagle, how much are you guys actually flying on reserve per month? Just curious.

Depends on the base and if you want to fly. I average 60-70 hours a month on RSV in ORD. since I commute I try to stay as busy as I can. I know several guys who live in base who will fly like 5 hours a month.

Interesting, someone posted a while back that MIA RSV guys weren't flying much. I was wondering if this was by choice. Sounds like you have some say over it.

ORD and DFW are the most busy airports for RSV. MIA and JFK are not.

If you're JR RSV in MIA or JFK I would say expect to fly around 30 or more hours. If you're Senior on RSV and want to fly you can proffer the day before for the open time and might get what you want.

MIA FO reserves only really fly when they want to excluding the bottom 1/4 or so of the reserve list. There are very little open trips even to proffer for and on any given day there are approx. +/- 30 people on reserve. There are handfuls of FO's who bid rsv who can hold lines just to take a break for a month knowing they probably won't be called and will only fly if they profer.

Hope this helps with any decisions.
