Current Eagle Pilots,
If you are unhappy with your ALPA leadership from Chairman and Vice Chairman please sign a petition to have them recalled.
Here is a weblink. Recall Tony Gutierrez & Dave Ryter as ALPA AE MEC Representatives Petition
Your information will remain protected. Please include your First and Last name, a good email address, and your employee number. All submitted "signatures" have been confirmed as AE pilots, and I will promptly remove any non-pilots to not askew the numbers.
We already have 22 signatures and it has only been online for an hour or maybe two.
If you are not on the AE seniority list your petition will be removed.
Also, if you are a Facebook follower, please join the Facebook group page. Here again, if your name isnt on the seniority list, I wont add you. It is a "secret group" so you'll have to search for it. Or maybe this will work https://www.facebook.com/groups/172269696253661/
Thank you.

Fellow DFW pilots:
Yesterday, I sent out a letter to the DFW pilots concerning the out of control spending by our MEC chairman. I expected a mature and comprehensive response to the allegations but instead, the chairman chose to openly threaten my career as an airline pilot. The direct threat came in the form of a text message with a photograph attached. The photo insinuated that I was drinking while in uniform. It was taken during an MEC meeting in July 2012 at the ALPA National Headquarters in Virginia. I had just commuted in for the meeting, and the rest of the council were already having a catered dinner. In the photograph, it appears that I am drinking alcohol in uniform. The text message from Tony Gutierrez said only this: “Someone sent me this, thought you should know.” This comment was clearly meant to intimidate me. Putting my career in jeopardy by circulating a photo taken out of context shows the lengths he is willing to go to in order to deflect attention away from his own actions. All this has managed to accomplish is to strengthen my resolve to ensure accountability and put an end to the excesses demonstrated by our MEC leadership.
I have yet to receive any other communication from the MEC leadership.

If he did this to me, I'd contact HR immediately regarding this insinuated threat. It also smacks of retaliation and abuse of power.

Oh please. I know everybody outside of Eagle keeps wishing for the wheels to start falling off around here. If anything it is more of a compliment that so many people from other airlines and even flight schools (Mojo) are so concerned about Eagle.
This is an issue with our Union chairman and his attempts at silencing opposition. Hardly a doomsday moment for our airline at large.
