Is ATL a possible option for a domicile? I see it listed under the Shuttle America bases...

Yes if you get hired into Shuttle. You can usually hold ATL within a month or two after training but it's very senior and you'll be on reserve for a very long time.

Could you elaborate on this a little, please? Gracias.

ORD will be a base on the AE side (republic vert.) as well as an existing base the UA side (shuttle cert.). HQ is wanting to open up the base to allow both the shuttle and republic pilots to fly both the UA and AE flying.

No news, no hope. Teamsters is useless in this battle.
As long as you guys keep putting up decent to good on time performance nothing will change.

You have to demonstrate why you are important to keep happy. Do what ASA did a little over 7 years ago and what AA did this past fall.

Quite honestly I don't think your pilot group has the courage needed to take the necessary action to force Bedford's hand.

You can complain all you want about the teamsters being useless but a union's strength is derived entirely from it's membership. Stop whining and do something that demonstrates your value.

Why should Bedford do anything other than drag his feet? He has no incentive to do otherwise. He doesn't care how much you whine. As long as classes keep getting filled and the money keeps flowing he'll do nothing.

Not quite. Through an FAA procedure and training all pilots would be eligible to fly on either cert in any base. Eventually the Shuttle cert will go away.

Couldn't of said it better. That goes for all groups in the stuggle not just republic.
