No, I guess doing 20 and deploying multiple times doesn't justify skipping the regionals............so I guess we mil dudes have to do 20, then start at the regionals in some peoples eyes............<-notice the severe rolling of the eyes......Now I'm not saying we automatically deserve to be flying with big boys, but at least we should have an equal opportunity to be considered for an interview and perhaps be hired without going to a regional.....

Having a flow limits your options, at least if that flow is to AA. AA has historically not hired eagle guys although that may have more to do with the wholly owned crap than the flow...wish they had divested us prior to bk.

Why are flows bad again? Nothing's perfect but still better than only connected people getting hired.
Anyway...rumor is Commutair is working on something with United to promote hiring. Might be the only way they keep the doors open. Just curious to know if it's all a management's plot to attract victims. If it's true it might be the place to be.

Like I said, flows actually hurt your chances of getting on with the major you have the flow with. So lets say you would work at AA, UAL, and DAL. In your case you think Commutair may get an agreement with UAL, so in the end your only choices will be AA, DAL or UAL 15 years from now when your flow number comes up.

If you fly for someone else without a flow your chances are better as you have AA, DAL, and UAL you could possibly be hired by. From my experience having a flow agreement is actually a negative, not a positive.

Yeah unfortunately for anyone new I don't think that flow extends to new hires. I can say from experience that Eagle's flowthrough is a net negative.

Final details are apparently being worked out. Skywest & UAL.
Not sure about an announcement, but this comes directly from our system CP less than 3 weeks ago.

It makes sense. If United's feeders aren't feeding then it's costing them money. They have to hire anyway might as well help out the hands that feeds it.

If only United does it the other carriers will have trouble with their regionals so I'm sure they'll follow suit.
