Seems like if you ask some of the people posting on this thread it will be more in line with "minority"

Most people are citizens. At least of one country. Some are citizens of two or even more countries.

Then they wouldn't be considered 'foreigners' of said country then would they?
Is this really hard to understand?

Ok, it's time. I started this topic because I was concerned about cabotage, nothing more (for anyone who sees nothing but undertones of racism or SJS here). My questions have been answered, my concerns are at ease, and I'm a little more educated. I knew I'd be chastised for posting something like this, but didn't think that being a CFI would have anything to do with it. Not all of us are born knowing every in and out about this industry. What's wrong with asking about it?

Let's close this thread and move on with our lives, gentlemen.

Not really new...I joined when I was 17 (hence the absurdity of my username), before I logged a single flight hour. It's been such a long time since I've been around here that I forget that APC is 4chan for pilots...with better pics, courtesy of the guys in the Latest and Greatest about Delta thread

What you mean let's move on? This is just getting entertaining. Oh and no I don't care about their legality to work here. I'm sure their legal just like some of my family that works here via a green card. What I was pointing out is the obvious fact that Republic has allot of foreign nationals working there just by my deduction Mr Watson.

Cash or no cash as long as they vote for raises I'm cool with them. Oh and by the way as long as they buy drinks other then that get the blank out of here.

Oh, I jest I jest

Then you need to learn what cabotage is.

Andy why would you have an issue with that?

A fair number of us - Americans - are working in UAE, Saudi, China, etc., where the companies have sponsored visas.

So, why is it OK for us to work anywhere in the world, but not for 'them' to work here?
