I show up to work looking like a slob because that's how I picked up your mother on an overnight.

I nominate this as THE dumbest thread of the year. 9 pages devoted to "regional pilots are slobs". Awesome! Judge a whole industry by a few fat go jets and pinnacle pilots running around DTW with no wings and worn out uniforms.
I see slobbish pilots of all rank and aircraft. I have even seen Delta Air Lines Mainline Pilots (gasp!) with no hat, backpack, and a wrinkled sweaty shirt running to catch a commuter flight! It happens.
And to the OP, I know you were just trolling, but if anyone honestly thinks 9 pages on an anonymous message board will solve this problem, you're ridiculous.
Next time, sack up and confront these slobbish pilots in person. I dare you. Please someone YouTube it for the rest of us.

I, like you, have seen unprofessional guys/gals looking like crap all across the board, regionals and majors. I also agree that this is one of the dumbest threads I've read. But trying to slap the OP for his poor judgement and horrible thread-starting skills while falling on the same flaws you are trying to preach against is just dumb.
Timex IM here, FWIW...

That will be changing. We are also finally getting rid of the navy blue trench coats that the company claimed were too expensive to replace when the Mesaba and Colgan folks switched to Black and Gold.
Does ASA use M&H? We still do, and it sucks. You have to treat the pants really gingerly for them to not show abnormal wear and tear.
Also helps to have 3-4 pairs on rotation during trips and just in general, of every uniform item, so that they wear out more slowly.
I also do the same for epaulets... it's nice to have the gold be gold.

Look at all the threads that Bernouli has started. The majority of them have been closed, he seems to like to stir the pot...basically he's a troll

Who do you all use for uniform purchase? We use M&H and they suck the big one. One of the "new" shirts already had the neck stains on it. And another one had one of the buttons fall off on the first wash. Not to mention they are rude on the phone and the return policy is horrible. Sure we have the option of getting reimbursed if we buy from another place, but why should I have to do that?
And while we are on the subject, the guys who wear the jackets, hats and sunglasses while walking in the terminal look like tools. Maybe that's a class taught at ERAU or one of those other schools.
