I've seen a lot of Mainline, 170, and the little RJ pilots wearing the ear buds lately. Do company manuals allow this? I would never do this because I believe I would look like a "dork". Also, what's with the Western themed trench coats? Are these guys going out to herd cattle? Will they be wearing spurs on their cowboy boots next week? Nerds, just a bunch of damn NERDS!!….

Dear sir, the title of your thread says "Regional Pilots Are Slobs", but your comment above says "some" need to work on their appearance. While the title of the thread is an absolute statement and is wrong, I do agree with the comment above.

I think someone said it, but you do get what you pay for & what is in is reflected on the outside. Overworked & underpaid usually equal overstressed & that will show for sure.

I'll be jumpseating home for the holidays on saturday. I will be carrying a backpack with me. Deal with it. I don't have any use for a flight kit. Who gives a **** if someone has a backpack.
