No if it were Gulfstream GIrl she would be making a thumbs-up and the camera whilst flipping a switch with the other hand. Her videos are so lame.

And it's funny that a GoJet guy started this, because in my experience, if anyone has a ketchup stain on his shirt, chances are it's a Gojetter.

Yes. Only Gojet guys enjoy ketchup.

She was a FA who no longer works here. They were empty doing a reposition flight. To my knowledge the crew hasn't been disciplined. But thanks for spreading BS rumors "you heard".

I nominate this as THE dumbest thread of the year. 9 pages devoted to "regional pilots are slobs". Awesome! Judge a whole industry by a few fat go jets and pinnacle pilots running around DTW with no wings and worn out uniforms.

I see slobbish pilots of all rank and aircraft. I have even seen Delta Air Lines Mainline Pilots (gasp!) with no hat, backpack, and a wrinkled sweaty shirt running to catch a commuter flight! It happens.

And to the OP, I know you were just trolling, but if anyone honestly thinks 9 pages on an anonymous message board will solve this problem, you're ridiculous.

Next time, sack up and confront these slobbish pilots in person. I dare you. Please someone YouTube it for the rest of us.

Tony, if no one ever spread "BS rumors they heard" there'd be no internet forums - which may or may not be a good thing.

The fact that anyone would hire a pilot based on appearance rather than on how well they handle the aircraft will disturb you if you're a real pilot.
Not sure who you work for but having been a FLAP for years prior to my mainline career I can say that those who cared about their appearance and look professional tended to be the most professional and proficient in their flying skills.

I got the real story last night, but thanks for trying. As for spreading BS rumors, I heard you were running for Commander of the Righteous Police, sent to Earth by the aviation gods to right all wrongs and correct all falsehoods

I concur. It must be a "US" thing to think otherwise, but that's also a palpable generalization, so I digress. I'm quite sure the "CEO" that started out in the mail room had to stay sharp. All my own opinion though. Carry on.

The fattest, sloppiest person I've ever seen in uniform was an Airways capt in CLT. On average I'd say that the mainline guys and gals keep their appearance more professional but I'm sure pilots from 40 years ago would say that today's most kempt and professional pilots look a little sloppy. It's a downward trend and we're all part of it.

I guess that comes down to whether good means following the GOM to the letter (even the procedures that contradict the other procedures), or actually being able to handle the aircraft safely and efficiently. It's obviously not a fool proof system, but no system is.

Fancy pilot watch with multiple dials, generally a ****ty pilot and a pain in the ass to work with.
Hey, sometimes I wear a Breitling. But it's a fake from Thailand I got for 600 baht.
