[QUOTE=Joliet;1580111]I think Republic said they are going to focus on bigger airplanes more than anything, but I suppose that's all in how you read an article, and believe what you want.

I don't know what is going on over at ExpressJet/ASA other than a bunch of you though a pay raise for Brasilia pilot's was a great deal. Why would Skywest INC offer it to you if it was sooo great? I mean yeah your JCBA wasn't stellar, and would have put you behind Mesa, Piedmont, and PSA."

Sooo you think Republic is just choosing to drop 27 airplanes off contract and lose $18 million? No they are being forced to drop those aircraft early bc otherwise they would be unable to staff their more lucrative AA contract.

You do know that XJT and SKW are 2 different airlines right? And that XJT does not actually have any Brasilias? I'm not sure who you are referring to but I'm also confident there is nothing about the XJT or SKW contracts that would put them behind Mesa. In fact, every word you typed in this entire post is completely incorrect.

Lastly, your peers over at Eagle just stood up for your entire industry and it probably took what, 2 minutes for you to come over here and start salivating over who was going to get to undercut them and take their jobs out from under them? You are disgusting and a disgrace for whichever company you do work for and the industry. As a pilot about to make the jump to the 121 world I would like to thank those at Eagle who stood strong to better this career for all of us in the industry and those still to come, it was courageous and I hope and believe management will be forced to come back to the table. Good luck!

Much as I hate to say it, don't be surprised to see some of the 145 flying at Trans States. We've been upgrading and hiring like crazy and it is going to continue into the summer. Was at the training center last month and heard upgrade may go down to 6 months in Summer. Only way for that to happen is more airplanes. We're having no problem filling classes due to quick upgrades and a decent contract that has cancellation pay. Leach and Co have kept ties to American/Airways by maintaining a handful of aircraft on the Airways side.

Very doubtful. We can barely staff current planes. Only saving grace is lack of captain attrition. Also with our performance numbers don't be surprised if we don't get anymore extensions from UA. Tsa will be on life support untill the mrjs come.

He's not a troll. That's just his opinion in the matter.
Only douchebags start the "he's a troll " witch hunt when they don't like opinion of another.

There really *are* some trolls on here, and it is getting old. Different opinions? Cool! Trolling? Nope.

Time will tell. However, with this vote comes the possibility that eagle turns the corner for the entire industry, and a few PSA pilots stand alone in unnecessary capitulation. I have friends at PSA and don't have a feeling generalized to all PSA pilots. However, we are living times right now when each pilot should be acting in ways they are willing to stand behind indefinitely.

You guys at PSA put Eagle in this position. They stood up once (told their union to kill b-scale) and them you stabbed them in the back and then they stood up again for the industry.

You guys at PSA stand alone. Congratulations you are the new Great Lakes of the industry.
