Don't know where you've been but reserves aren't getting used much and every drop I've requested has been approved. We're pretty fat on pilots right now and continuing to hire. Something is up........

Lol something's always up! We may be able to drop trips right this second but will that last? They are hiring for anticipated attrition. It's not as optimistic as you might think, Tsa hasn't had new flying in years. We did get an extension on a whopping 6 planes though!

O boy here we go, something is always up with you. Nothing has happened yet though...

You guys at PSA put Eagle in this position. They stood up once (told their union to kill b-scale) and them you stabbed them in the back and then they stood up again for the industry.
You guys at PSA stand alone. Congratulations you are the new Great Lakes of the industry.

This whole thread is so wrong it needs to be shut down. Nobody needs to be salivating and prognosticating who is going to get Eagle/Envoy's planes IF they shut down. And I seriously doubt they will, any more than we did after saying no at XJT.

Wow this thread devolved quickly.
For the record, the Shuttle America situation does not apply. The Chautaqua E170s were causing millions in fines from APA and the Shuttle certificate was purchased as a place to put those aircraft since we were having trouble getting the Republic cert online. Prior to Chautauqua purchasing them, there were ZERO plans for the type on property. And the transition from Saab to E170 at Shuttle was facilitated by already having them on property at the same company.
Just making sure you've got the facts correct. Shuttle was not an E170 operator and had no plans to be one until the acquisition.

What is historically inaccurate about it?
1. AAG approached Eagle last summer and asked for a "B-scale." (more like a C-scale compared to mainline) The Eagle MEC listened to their pilots and told AMR to go pound sand. AAG said fine, we'll go to PSA and offer them a deal.
2. AAG goes to you guys at PSA and offers you an even worse deal than they offered Eagle (the B-scale offered to Eagle was only going to affect new hires, they could have easily thrown future generations under the bus) and you guys vote it in.
3. AAG comes back to Eagle and says, "Agree to PSA concessions or else….." The Eagle MEC listens to their pilots yet again and decides to kill the second offer.
You cut the legs out from Eagle when you took your deal. Eagle just made it easier for Air Whiskey and whoever else follows next to say no too.

If Eagle is shutdown, it won't be because of a decision AAG made, it will be because the airline imploded.
I agree though, PSA pilots and everyone else who is salivating over Eagle's flying needs to stop.
