Have you looked at Airwhiskey completion factor and concealled flights in the US Airways system?? Last time I was in training they pulled the stats up and the only airline worse then Piedmont was AWAC. Mesa being the best.
That was the reason AirTran dumped them in the mid 2000's. While AWAC is a good place it has just as many issues as other regionals so don't full yourself.

AWAC went thru a rough patch a couple years ago where we were way low on staffing. 2010-2012 IIRC. Best month I credited 170 hours, without working vacation. You could get away with murder practically and they didn't care as long as you showed up. I wouldn't be surprised if they were at the bottom of the list during that time.

How I understood it was that AirTran wasn't happy with there service and after they did the number crunching they saw they could do the job better filling the RJ routes with 717s. Delta seems to be doing the same thing with the former AT's 717s.

You seem confused...in one post it was because they couldn't staff and now the next post says it's because they could "do it better".

I'd love to see the PRIA stack at Mesa from PSA. It's a no brainer if you're first year or so and don't want to get jacked around with the scraps Mesa gets in whatever locale. Low per diem , Training contract ( indentured servant) No uniform allowance...ever. 20 years of seniority gets you 11 days off ( the lack of days off is a goal of pairing construction). Unbelievable contract violations with base reductions / closings. I've never seen a pilot group so agreeable to the disrespect bestowed upon them by management. JO is all about touting the carrot. If you're looking at upgrade alone it's probably not a bad choice. Stay single and buy an RV, you'll be fine.

And I think Delta has figured that out too.

So let me get this straight...Endeavor take pay cuts to save their own bacon and throw the rest of us under the bus, but because of said concessions they can't staff their planes so DL is looking to someone who can to do their flying...and I'm supposed to feel bad? Got it!
