There were quick upgrades because a lot of the guys hired 2 years ago came in with 1500 and less so they didn't meet the times to upgrade and guys were skipping over them. So I suspect soon new hires will actually have to wait their turn to upgrade. And street captains will be at the bottom indefinitely. I think we already have all captains and future captains for these new planes on property unless there's mass attrition.
Quick upgrade is to be had at TSA. Especially when our second code share is announced and the rest of the XRs are announced. |

There are only like 50 FOs are eligible for upgrade. There are a ton of FOs that are a long way from upgrade time.

Nowhere does it say on any press release you're getting XR's. But please, continue to gloat over a quick upgrade.
First part you are correct about. Second part? Last I heard 2013 hires were captains. So if you double the fleet, is the upgrade time going to get worse? I don't know. I'm not good at maths. |

Well, excuse us for being happy on our own thread. Is there an industry rule against happy pilots?

That stepping stone is real short when you get terminated from one, no?

Since you want to follow me around and mudsling, I'll bring it to your thread. It was a short stepping stone for me. I took that EMB-145 rating, and a am using it to make more money than I'd be making at TSA year two, and soon more than I'd be making as a captain, with a better QOL for me.
