well don't go slapping down a bundle on a new KIA yet. All the regional shift is a stop gap measure to the transition to larger airframes which they want done yesterday. 50 seat companies will be bag holders unless oil continues to plummet. And that could happen which would bring the economics of 50 seat flying back into the smaller markets and return the frequency aspect back into the equation.
It's a good bet that Hulas will eke out another win. He seems to have a knack for long shots.

Bull$hit...if he was a 12 yr FO it's because he didn't want to upgrade.

You're right, he did upgrade sooner, and then was down graded less than a year later.

And then would have had an opportunity to upgrade again no later than 7 years after his DOH.

There has never been a 12 yr upgrade at TSA.

Your timeline is off. It's never taken that long to re upgrade. 8 years max. Look you can act all high and mighty and pass judgement on this company and every regional out there. You can act like you stood up to the man. But bottom line is the company told you to do something that is well within their rights to do and you lied and then got caught with your pants down. Kind of hypocritical if you ask me considering what you are accusing the recruiting department of.

Any truth to what your recruiters are saying. Hiring Street Captains starting at 48 an hour?

It's not street captains it's CQFO's. Pay when sitting inthe left seat is 61.91/hr and the blended rate when doing time in the right seat comes out to roughly 44/hr. 3500TT and 1000 SIC are the requirements. Contrary to popular belief, or so I've heard is prior 145 experience and/or a type is not required.

Sure beats starting at first year pay again.

If my timeline is off I stand corrected, the flight was over a year ago.

There were quick upgrades because a lot of the guys hired 2 years ago came in with 1500 and less so they didn't meet the times to upgrade and guys were skipping over them. So I suspect soon new hires will actually have to wait their turn to upgrade. And street captains will be at the bottom indefinitely. I think we already have all captains and future captains for these new planes on property unless there's mass attrition.
