PSA like PDT doesn't own any planes. Almost all of PDT's Dash 8's are owned but not by PDT. AAG can do what they want with the planes.
I highly doubt the PSA's 200's will be transferred to AWAC because of how cheap PSA is to operate and the fact they're getting 50 people a month. Every airlines has some issues with staffing but with the quick upgrades PSA isn't having a hard time getting people.

I say it makes sense...doesn't mean it is going to happen that way...but such a plan is not an indication of whether you can staff or not...we do know the other express carriers can't cover their flying since AWAC has been asked constantly to pick up extra flying going on a year now.

psa's ability to attract pilots IS only due to the fact that AAG is publicizing well in advance of actually getting the aircraft, while at the same time AAG announces the demise of another aag owned feeder, aiding psa in recruitment. PSA will eventually end up being a clogged, non movement stagnate operations within 12 months from now. Even aag has made that fact known.

Billy Billy...this is not about staffing...it is about harmonizing fleets. PSA is getting 700s, Envoy 175s or whatever they are. It would make sense to move the 200s to one carrier since all the other carriers in the express system are moving to one fleet type. At least that is what they announced.

For the sake of other awac crews, fodhopper you need to settle down, you're embarrassing us. Harmonizing fleet type?! How'd you come up with that one? Last time I check a cl-65 is a cl65. I know its tough watching others grow while awac sits around like a dead fish. Embrass the fish my friend.
If the posited theory is correct and we get a few extra 200s instead of no flying and shut down...then I'll take the 10 year contract...Doesn't mean I believe that is what is going to happen...the Delta fiasco taught us not to believe too deeply.
As for "harmonizing" it only meant each carrier flies one type. Do we all want to be in newer aircraft, with fancy things like coupled VNAV and maybe access to a lav that doesn't require the walk of shame? Sure do.
However, at the moment AWAC still pays green money even when we are cancelled and the view is still the same out the window.

Again I'm not an Airline Executive so I'm not sure how things actually work.
Parkers main plan is to try and operate 3 WO'ed airlines each one having close to 100 planes. We'll see how that works out.
