Not to mention carriers like Emirates who also want time in jets with MTOW over 50k lbs.

Stay away from Emirates! It's bad and has only gone downhill over the last 5 years as many are leaving to come back to the States since our carriers have rebounded.

They are about to drop there JetTime requirement.

My buddy finishes up flying at Emirates in July and will we taking his recall to United. He highly advises against anyone going over to fly.

In todays market just get your PIC time. You'll get hired! Plus the fact that Stick and Rudder skills are making a comeback.

United over Emirates. Emirates over RAH. For the ****hole that RAH is, Emirates is several steps up. Please do yourself a favor and do a bit more research than just "billyho's buddy tells him that...... EK sucks". It may not be for everyone, but at least, you won't look back at it as an opportunity missed.
