That may be exactly where RAH is headed. Management has taken the stance theyd rather go out of business than pay pilots. You just cant fix stupid.

When is the strike vote? Ahhhhhh never????
The new website should be called, "Shut it down now, and park every single aircraft!"

This is just unreal to watch from the cheap seats. Management does realize that each that goes by means more expense and effort to turn the ship around right? At some point you can reach the point of no return due to all the damage done...? Is RAH being sued for breach of contract for dropping too many flights?

No, they are playing you guys for fools. They have the aircraft orders and you guys have to call their bluff. You'll be flying for peanuts until the strike vote comes along. You guys have the weakest union on the history of the planet!!! Period.

Lol... you must be new at this airline thing! I suggest you read up on the railway labor act and also the Flying The Line series. I'm certainly not taking up for the Teamsters, because I think they are huge crooks. The real problem is with the RLA, and the refusal of the NMB to do their job! Also it doesn't help that we still have newhires showing up to work here!

And aircraft orders don't mean jack **** until it's parked at a gate with my ass sitting in it. They can always be cancelled, sold or subleased.

Im the last guy to cheer on the teamsters, but what is the alternative? The last regional to strike was comair in the late 90s. ALPA just went on a concession spree across the regional industry. The bottom line is regional pilots are screwed due to the NMB. Even in the face of failure and an enormous pilot shortage at this level, management has successfully stalled negotiations at some carriers while forcing concessions at others. This goes completely against every business and market principle there is. Its artificial and facilitated by our inept govenrment giving these money drunk executives all the power.

Regional pilots are screwed because they are wimps. The RLA applies to mainline but those pilot have the balls to fly safe and do what's needed to force the company's hand. Regional pilots ***** and moan about pay then vote in concessions. Who's fault is that? The NMB? I don't think so...
