Is flow really a big deal?

Exactly, except I think PDT can also go through the front door. PSA can only use the back door. So if you want to work for a legacy and you can't get on with DAL or United enjoy your 24 year stint at PSA.

If things don't pan out at Envoy with the flow (which logjams upgrades all over again), is it better to just be the latest sap stuck in the right seat at Envoy waiting for another promise to materialize or somewhere building 121 PIC and captains bucks ?
I say the latter is the better bet until AAG makes a rock solid commitment and not Envoy management and your promises.

I really wanted to read the LOA from Envoy and compare the verbiage to PSA to see if/why PSA pilots cannot be interviewed once the 4/month commitment is exercised.
I really don't care about flow at any regional. I am more interested in a way outside of the flow.
I haven't seen anything in the PSA LOA that directly says AA won't/can't hire others after they fulfill the SSP commitment. I know it hasn't happened since the SSP was put in place, but that doesn't mean it cant happen.

Let me know when United comes beating down your door with all that valuable TPIC. Never mind the thousands of other highly experienced RJ captains who have been slugging it out waiting for that call from one of the Big 3.
