But in all seriousness, never going to happen. There is no shortage of pilots. And there certainly isn't any unity. If regional pilots want to see better wages, better get a new union with the interests of REGIONAL pilots first and foremost on it's agenda.
Says the probie PSA pilot who by taking the job, stabbed his fellow regional pilots in the back.

This is the only solution if everyone at a RJ job took a little unscheduled time off between thanksgiving and christmas the problem would be fixed by new years. 50% of domestic flying is Rj's The united states wouldnt move and all of sudden the value of the service regional pilots/airlines provide would be appreciated. There not enough 73's or 190's to do what rjs do period. Alpa droped the ball the only thing they should have beeen doing since the 2008 election was getting pilots out of the RLA. The union is toothless and so are pilots.

Suuurreeee buddy. I don't see any other airlines offering as easy a commute and as least amount of time on reserve as PSA. I have a family to look after just like you. And I put my family before my "fellow regional pilots" (who by the way never seem to have anything but kind words when we give them rides home). They are what is most important to me (just like I'm sure yours is to you) and I will look out for them and do what's best for us as a whole. Will you be sending me checks or putting food on my table if I am furloughed and looking for work? I didn't think so.

You have the exact same "me first" attitude that a scab does. The Derg will not be happy.

You don't know me or anything about me. I'll never be a scab. If we ever meet outside of a public forum I may just surprise you with my views on manage by vs labor. I do have self respect. I'm also a realist and I simply don't agree that working for PSA is "bringing down the regional industry". This industry is engineered to be the that it is for a reason. Nothing you or I will ever do is going to change that.

Are you at liberty to say who you work for Fegelein? Just curious

Mgmt cockroaches count on that "me first" attitude that pits pilots against one another. Way to go!

With folks like you infesting cockpits, what good is a union? Sadly you certainly aren't alone. In fact, you're just the kind of guy to get elected into a union leadership position in order to sell out the pilot group in exchange for a cushy company job. Happens all too often these days. Your kind of person is a huge part of why this profession has gone into the chitter.

May your career (and those like you) wind up resembling the bug that hits the windshield on final. Karma is a real biotch!

PS - Please don't whine about you saying "my family" and not "myself". It's really lame to try to try and use your family to cover for your personal selfishness. In fact, it's outright douche-baggery.

Your mad because I say it like it is. I'm not going to go to my grave wondering what a bunch of outspoken pilots on an Internet forum thought about me and my decisions. I've never been one to mislead people about the airline I've chosen to work at. I've always told the good, the bad, and the ugly. And don't preach to me about my "me first" attitude from your self-righteous high horse. What have you done personally to further this profession and this industry? I have done a lot more in my life that I feel is more important and that I am more proud of than flying an airplane. This is a means to an end. Please tell me how many among you who would so quickly write me off say that you actually know what hard times are? Have you ever even had to worry about where your next meal would come from? So your damn right I'm going to do what's best for me and my family short of crossing a picket line. YOU never did anything for me, nor will you ever. You want to vilify me for that attitude? Fine. I'll still sleep easy tonight knowing that my responsibilities are looked after.
