Completely for what it’s worth, we just put together a program that allows you to check to see if there any unused hotels. It’s not meant for commuters, and it’s not guaranteed. But it’s better than nothing.

Where do we find said program?

There was a memo put out in Comply like last week. It should be under the “view” tab. I read it and checked it off, so I can’t tell ya where it went haha. But I guess there’s a website and everything.

The hyperlink is on the company website, look for the very last link in the side navigation bar.

The new “Hotel Program” is for extra hotels the company may have in your base. They’ve done this since the 2015 contract, but you had to call to get on the list. Now they use a website, and it shows your place on the list. I flew with CMH FO last week, and he was number 9 on list. It’s for all crew members also, and not just pilots. Best case scenario is you get a couple free hotels a month, but if the weather is bad, then forget about it. You need to get on the list first, so try logging in at midnight.

Philly went to a 10/15/18 hire on the last vacancy as a Backfill. 9/5/18 got it as a vacancy award. Effective March. In other words, while you are training. But things change constantly. With the influx of trainees, it could be longer depending on who wants want. The 9/5 guy and the 10/15 person have 100 pilots between them.
