Maybe they aren't scrubbing through the entire seniority list, it could be the current CKA are giving recommendations.

To add on, you also get your first $1,500 bonus payment during that 30 days and per diem starts right after.

Jr Capt today is a 02/16 hire. Almost impossible to say how long it would take to get there in the future. It's just been opened.

The most junior CA for SDF on the most recent award (April 2020) is a 06/25/2018 hire.

It's also worth pointing out the top half or so probably isn't going anywhere any time soon, so while you might be able to hold it fairly easily, I'm not convinced you'll see a lot of movement up the list there as a CA.

You’ll have four days of grounds from 8am-5pm. You’ll then have one day of EFPT’s at the training center. You’ll have two days off and be given a rental car to drive to CVG (where they sent us) or STL. You’ll then be given three days with three four hour blocks in the full motion sims going over basic MCDU work, approaches, inflight weather, rejected t/o’s, v1/v2 cute and much more. They gave the majority of our group the 10pm-2am slots. It’s a huge leg up because it’s all done in the 170/175 sims. We’re leaving tomorrow to go back to Indy to take the written and start INDOC.
It's not a "v1/v2 cute" it's a V1 cut and it's very important that you understand how to react in that situation. This is almost indicitave of the individual who complained about RAH not contacting him when he applied without a medical and a passport. I'm sorry if it was a woman (but given the language I don't think so.) And then the whole situation with the multi engine time. There's a reason why that matters. You will be operating and responsible for a fast high altitude multi engine aircraft with 76 in the back. They want to have confidence that you know what you're doing in a stressful situation.
