Ironic you ask, but apparently the company is sending out a survey to pilots tomorrow in regards to a career progression program.

Where this goes is anyone’s guess. I wouldn’t hold your breath for something groundbreaking.

Yes, they say they are working on something but like KC said who knows if anything will ever materialize.

Rumor has it that the person that was working on it left the company last year. So now they have hired someone to be activity working on it or someone has more time to work on a flow.

I would imagine a flow to delta rather than AA. AA already has the 3 WO’s. Delta only has the interview program through EDV.

Honestly a flow is a double edged sword. Often times good pilots from good companies get hired outside of the flow faster than they would by their own parent major. Why? Well if you’re Delta you have more incentive to poach everyone else’s regional pilots than hiring your Endeavor pilots who are kinda locked in. If you hire your own instead now you’ve just caused a shortage at your own regional, increased training costs etc.

You come to republic because it’s a quality operation with good training that is good on the resume and trust that you can get an interview... rather than waiting 8-10 years to get to AA somewhere else...

How do you figure? If YX got a DL flow, 9E would be thrilled, as they have contractual protections that require anything offered to another 121 carrier, be offered to 9E.

Doesn’t sound like we’re getting anything after taking that survey. Was more geared towards “career progression” within the company, not outside of it.
