You will not be hired to work in the training department as a new FO. The only FOs I know in the training department are prior CAs on previous fleet types and/or highly experienced.

They did hire a ground instructor who is not prior 121 but that is unusual.

The last one you get is 48 months in and you have to stay until 60 months to keep that payment. You can skip upgrade once. If you go under 75 hours any month then that month doesn't count towards your 12 months to keep the bonus payment you got that year.

There is an FO ground instructor and a CFI teaching INDOC

Default Bases & Reserve

Curious what bases people are currently getting out of training and what reserve times are looking like until holding a line. Thanks for any info!

I thought that there was an individual that would update a list of the bases and its seniority?

Once in training, how long did it take you guys to complete it? They have been offering September classes now, if I accept the September class, do you guys think I’ll be done with IOE before end of year?

I know it depends on different factor but just wanted to know how long it take for you guys to get through it!

Thank you !

I would say going from day one of Indoc to completing IOE within three months is more common than not. Might be a little slower now with the training department still getting back in shape and being at least a little short on CKA but I don’t think it will take significantly longer.

Heard classes are scheduled out to Oct/Nov. Is this accurate?

The training department’s goal is 95 days from day one of indoc to finishing OE.

That is pretty accurate unless there are any training delays which I haven't heard of any.

As far as class dates I have no idea. And reserve times change all the time so what they are now most likely won't be what they are when you hit the line. LGA will have the shortest.
