With how competitive hiring is right now why would you give yourself any small reason to not be considered? Regardless of how professional your beard may look you cannot have while on the job. So why bother having it at the interview?

Would that be a reason not to be considered though ?

I shaved mine off for airline interviews. And they might not consider you because it’s not industry standard in regards to grooming.

Honestly have no idea how they would react. You could always call and ask. But you know how the saying goes, for interviews dress for the job you want not for the job you have. Beards are a no go here once you start Indoc (unless medical waiver).

Training
Hey all. Looking for a little info and what to expect during training. How long is training typically from Day 1 indoc to the first day in the plane during OE? How is the hotel situation? Single occupancy, extended stay style? What is the minimum hours for pay? Is it still 75 for training?
I appreciate any input you can provide! Tried looking through the threads but wasn’t finding much. Thanks!

You stay at several hotels as not all of the training is in IND, some are extended stay style some aren't. Luck of the draw. Again they have not only pilot classes but a lot of flight attendants starting monthly and they all need hotels too.
75 hours of pay begins after 30 days from indoc, before that you get a stipend of $60 a day.
